It’s officially fall! And Kevin is officially making his way to Philadelphia! Timing worked out perfectly that he’ll arrive in town just in time to drop his bags at his hotel and head to the Eagles game. Lucky!
We said goodbye around 8pm and it certainly isn’t the first time one of us has traveled alone, however we do travel together much more often. Tonight was a little harder than it usually is, but perhaps that’s just because he’ll be exploring a city neither of us have ever been to and I’m jealous of that. I’ll get my own solo new city adventure in twelve days, too, but that doesn’t keeping from wishing I could do both.
Aside from the game he’ll be mostly working and I have a few things I’d like to do around the house anyway.
We went to see A Simple Favor today. For what it was, it was pretty good. I know it’s being compared to Gone Girl, but I liked it much better. I could never get enough of Blake Lively so that might contribute. ????????♀️
And, as I mentioned, it’s officially fall. The September equinox happens at 6:54pm today and that’s when we kissed the summer goodbye.
Harvest is the time when we look back upon the work we have put in over the last many months and relish all that we have gained through that process. Take a few moments today to reflect on the seeds you’ve sown and the reap the benefits of your hard work. And if you find that you have planted some less than perfect seeds or you need to relocate them someplace else or that they really didn’t flourish how you’d hoped, a change in season is a great time to regroup and refocus. ????????
